We're Leisa and Matt Erickson — CCC parents, and a real estate team at Compass.

For CCC families  ·  For CCC faculty & staff

You saw the banner.
Here's exactly what it means.

We're Leisa and Matt Erickson — CCC parents, and a real estate team at Compass. If you have a student at Clearwater Central Catholic, or you work there in any role, we cut our commission by half a percentage point when you buy or sell with us. It comes out of what we earn, not out of what your home is worth — and you'll see it in writing before you sign anything.

The math, not the pitch

What half a point is actually worth

At three Tampa Bay price points

A half point sounds small until you put a house behind it. Most discounts in this business are written to sound bigger than they are — here is ours at full size, with nothing rounded in our favor.

Sale priceYou keep
$500,000
+ $2,500
$750,000
+ $3,750
$1,250,000
+ $6,250
$2,000,000
+ $10,000

Example: on a $750,000 sale, a 3% commission becomes 2.5%. The half point never leaves your side of the table. You choose how you'd rather take it — written into the agreement up front as a lower rate, or rebated back to you at the closing table. Either way it lands on the settlement statement, not on a gift card afterward.

Why a banner at a high school

We're parents here first

The honest version

Our daughter is a Marauder. We bought the Booster membership because we wanted the programs funded, and the banners came with it. So we asked ourselves a fair question: if we're going to have our name on a fence at our own kid's school, what should it actually be good for?

This was the answer we could live with. Not a free market analysis every agent in Pinellas hands out. Not a drawing. Money, off the top, for the families sitting in the same bleachers.

If you'd rather work with someone else — that's genuinely fine, and the Boosters keep the money either way. But if you're going to move anyway, we'd like the chance to earn it.

Leisa & Matt Erickson · Compass FL LLC

Leisa has been selling Tampa Bay real estate since 2013, as Broker Associate, Sales Team Leader, and Principal Agent at Compass. Before that she spent her career as a sales performance consultant to Fortune 500 companies, then as VP of Intellectual Property and Product Development for firms that build and sell sales training. She came to this business out of a boardroom, and she still runs a listing the way a strategist runs an engagement: with the data on the table, a plan you can see, and a clear read on timing. She also grew up boating and knows the bay’s waterways firsthand — the access, the marina communities, which channels are actually navigable.

Matt is a Principal Agent with Compass and a Team Leader with the Leisa Erickson Group. Between the two of them they’ve lived in Chicago, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, and Naples before settling in St. Petersburg in 2010 — which is why relocation clients tend to find their way to us. We’ve done the version of the move where you don’t know a soul yet. Both of us are certified negotiators through two nationally recognized programs outside the real estate industry, and the team has ranked among the top teams in the Americas for more than a decade.

What clients tend to say about working with us: calm, patient, unusually detailed, and direct. Leisa has more than once cost herself commission to make sure a client had the whole picture before they decided. We'd rather you make the right call than a fast one.

Outside the business, we put our time into Pet Pals, CASA, Honor Flight, and Cycle for Life — and now the CCC Boosters.

We work across Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, and Sarasota counties — St. Petersburg, Clearwater and the Gulf beaches, Belleair, Tierra Verde, South Tampa, and Sarasota — with a specialty in waterfront and boating-lifestyle properties.

How to claim it

Three steps, no pressure

Start to finish

01

Tell us you're a Marauder

Call, text, or email — just mention Clearwater Central Catholic — whether you're a parent there or you work there. Say it before we sign an agreement so we can write the reduction into the paperwork from the start.

02

Have a real conversation first

We'll walk through all the details, including your numbers, your timing, and what the market is actually doing in your specific pocket. If the honest answer is "wait," we'll tell you that. It costs you nothing and there's no obligation on either side.

03

Pick how you want it, then forget about it

Take the half point as a reduced rate written into the agreement from day one, or as a rebate handed back to you at closing. Tell us which you prefer and we'll handle the paperwork. Nothing to remember, nothing to redeem.

The fine print, in plain English

Who qualifies, and what we hold back

So there are no surprises later

  • Who qualifies. Any family with a student currently enrolled at Clearwater Central Catholic, and every member of the CCC staff — faculty, administration, coaches, office, support, and facilities. If you're on the payroll or in the carpool line, you're in.
  • What it applies to. Our commission drops by half a percentage point on a completed purchase or sale — for example, 3% becomes 2.5%.
  • Two ways to take it. Written into the agreement up front as a lower rate, or paid back to you as a rebate at closing. Your choice.
  • Selling. The reduction comes out of our listing-side commission only. It does not change what's offered to a buyer's agent, and it doesn't change how your home is marketed.
  • Buying. Same half point off our side. If you take it as a rebate, your lender and loan program have to allow it — some cap credits toward closing costs. We'll confirm your cap before you write an offer, and you can always take the reduction up front instead.
  • Where we stop, and why. We hold a 2.0% minimum on any engagement we take on, so the half point applies where our fee would otherwise be 2.5% or higher. That floor isn't a technicality — it's what pays for the photography, the staging and pre-market prep, the listing management, the showings, the inspections, the insurance coordination, the transaction management, and the hours of negotiation that actually move your number. We'd rather tell you where the line is than quietly do less work behind it.
  • Tell us up front. The reduction has to be documented in the signed agreement. We can't add it retroactively once a transaction is already under contract.
  • One per transaction, and it can't be combined with another Leisa Erickson Group promotion.
  • No expiration. There's no deadline and no fine-print clock. As long as CCC is our school, this stands.
